Adelina Gomez is a third-year law student at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson, Arizona. Adelina is a member of the Pueblo of Isleta and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating from UNM, Adelina served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Albuquerque with Southwest Youth Services.
In 2016, Adelina attended the Pre-Law Summer Institute in Albuquerque. The following summer, she returned to PLSI as Professor Tsosie’s Federal Indian Law Teaching Assistant. During her 2L summer, Adelina was a judicial extern with Judge Wagener at the Pima County Superior Court, Juvenile bench. Adelina is involved in many organizations at Arizona Law, including the school’s local NALSA chapter. She serves as the Social Director on the NALSA board. She is also Arizona Law’s Student Bar Association’s President. Adelina enjoys watching baseball and exploring Tucson in her free time. After graduating law school, Adelina hopes to practice Sports Law.
