Háŋ mitákuyepi,

My name is Marissa Sayetsitty and I am a citizen of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of Montana, and am Dakota Sioux and Navajo. I am enrolled in the Native American Law Emphasis program at the University of Idaho. I am actively involved in the Native American Law Student Association, and was recently elected the co-chair of our NALSA chapter. I want to make lasting positive change in Indian Country, and it is my goal to meet every challenge head-on in law school and beyond. I am confidence that I am learning the tools needed to be a great advocate for Indian Country, because I embody compassion, intelligence, and wisdom to represent Indian tribes and their members.
