MEET ABIGAIL
Abigail is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and grew up in Durant, Oklahoma. She attended Cornell University for an undergraduate degree in Human Development where she was heavily involved in the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program. After graduating, she worked for the Chickasaw Nation in their DC embassy, the Piominko House, where she hosted events for members of Congress, lobbyists, and Tribal leaders from across the country. While working, she obtained a Masters in Native American Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Abigail is currently a student a Georgetown University Law Center where she is the president of her local NALSA chapter. She hopes to practice federal Indian law after graduation with a focus on child welfare and community development.
As Area 5 representative, Abigail is excited to connect with other schools in the area to create a community within the region. She would love to chat with anyone who has questions about the opportunities in the area, law school, or the best you've read recently!
